<p>Type: Part-time or PRN (as needed) shifts available</p> <p>Employee performs duties normally associated with LPN license in the CRF/ARF facility operated by a community behavioral health center.</p> <ul> <li>Services are provided to adults and children. </li><li>Completes nursing examinations, assessments, implements plans, and evaluates patient status under the review of an RN. </li><li>Provides nursing care; discusses medical changes with the patient; monitors vital signs, CIWA/COWS, administers medications and monitors for effectiveness, or signs of adverse reactions to medications. </li><li>Provides medication and diagnosis-related information to patients, and answers questions as appropriate. </li><li>Reviews patient medical charts and transcribes and/or prepares documents for doctor or APRN review and signature </li><li>Maintains comprehensive and timely documentation including daily nursing notes. </li><li>LPN provides work direction to technicians during shift. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Florida. </li><li>Minimum two (2) years' of experience, preferred. </li><li>Experience working with individuals with mental health or substance use diagnoses, preferred. Knowledge of recovery is an asset </li><li>Licensure, certification, registration are current including continuing education requirements. </li><li>CBHC New Hire Orientation (NHO) completed within first two (2) months of employment. </li><li>All assigned trainings are current. </li><li>Ability to pass a level II Background clearance and drug test. </li><li>Valid FL drivers' license, insurance, and safe driving record. </li><li>Dependable transportation (registered, safe operating conditions, etc.) </li><li>Mobility and dexterity to walk, lift and stand for periods of time. </li><li>Ability to perform repetitive tasks. </li><li>Ability to sit or stand for extended periods. </li></ul>
