Our commitment to innovation, patient-centered focus, and scientific excellence drives us to develop groundbreaking treatments including MACI (knee cartilage repair), Epicel and Nexobrid (burn care).</p> <p>Position Summary</p> <p>The Product Manager, MACI is a downstream marketing leader responsible for execution and optimization across the Orthopedic portfolio (MACI and MACI Arthro). This role translates approved brand strategy into compliant, high-impact marketing initiatives that drive commercial growth, enhance field effectiveness, and support customer engagement.</p> <p>This individual owns tactical planning and execution across promotional materials, sales enablement, and cross-functional content development, while ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and financial commitments.</p> <p>The role reports to the Associate Director, MACI Marketing and serves as a key cross-functional partner to Sales, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Legal, Regulatory, Finance, and external agency partners.</p> <p>Schedule: This position is in-office from Monday - Thursday in our new Burlington, MA location, with flexibility to work remotely on Fridays.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <p>Brand Execution & Campaign Management</p> <ul> <li>Lead execution of approved brand initiatives and promotional campaigns. </li><li>Translate brand strategy into actionable briefs, timelines, and deliverables. </li><li>Develop, update, and maintain compliant print and digital promotional materials. </li><li>Monitor competitive landscape and market dynamics to inform tactical execution. </li></ul> <p>Sales Enablement & Field Support</p> <ul> <li>Serve as primary marketing point of contact for field material needs. </li><li>Develop and deploy sales enablement tools and field-facing resources. </li><li>Triage and prioritize inbound field requests across regions. </li><li>Communicate launches, updates, and revisions to field teams. </li></ul> <p>Cross-Functional Collaboration & Compliance</p> <ul> <li>Partner with Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Sales to identify content needs and align customer-facing materials. </li><li>Lead coordination and submission of materials through the Medical, Legal, and Regulatory (MLR) review process. </li><li>Ensure all materials adhere to approved claims and regulatory standards. </li></ul> <p>Agency & Vendor Management</p> <ul> <li>Manage day-to-day engagement with agency partners, including development of creative briefs, timelines, and deliverables. </li><li>Ensure agency scopes of work align with brand priorities, timelines, and approved budgets. </li></ul> <p>Financial Ownership</p> <ul> <li>Own day-to-day financial tracking for MACI marketing initiatives, including forecasting, accrual coordination, spend monitoring, and reconciliation. </li><li>Partner with Finance to ensure alignment to approved budgets and accurate reporting. </li></ul> <p>Digital & Lead Management</p> <ul> <li>Collaborate with Digital Marketing to establish and refine lead nurturing protocols, ensuring appropriate prioritization and marketing follow-up based on segmentation and engagement. </li></ul> <p>Performance Expectations & Success Measures</p> <p>Success in this role will be evaluated based on measurable business and operational outcomes, including:</p> <ul> <li>Contribution to MACI brand growth, including revenue and procedure volume trends </li><li>Impact of marketing initiatives on pipeline generation and field effectiveness </li><li>Quality, timeliness, and compliance of promotional materials </li><li>Effective budget management and alignment to approved financial targets </li><li>Responsiveness and value delivered to Sales and cross-functional stakeholders </li><li>Ability to translate strategy into high-impact, results-driven execution </li></ul> <p>The Product Manager is expected to demonstrate ownership of commercial outcomes, not solely completion of marketing activities.</p> <p>Basic Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, or related field </li><li>3-5 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or regulated marketing environments </li><li>Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment </li><li>Demonstrated budget ownership, including forecasting and spend management </li><li>Experience navigating MLR review processes </li><li>Experience managing print production and digital promotional materials </li><li>Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint </li><li>Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills </li><li>Ability to travel up to 20-30% </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Orthopedic, surgical, or specialty marketing experience </li><li>Experience managing agency partnerships </li><li>Familiarity with Veeva or similar promotional systems </li><li>MBA preferred </li></ul> <p>Why Vericel?</p> <ul> <li>Cutting-Edge Science: Work with a leading regenerative medicine product that is transforming patient care. </li><li>Career Growth: Be a part of a growing organization with opportunities to expand your impact. </li><li>Collaborative Culture: Work alongside a team of dedicated professionals who are passionate about improving lives. </li></ul> <p>The salary range Vericel reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at the time of this posting is $108,000 to $150,000 annually.</p> <p>The actual salary offered will be determined based on factors such as the candidate's qualifications, experience, and skills. Bonus, incentive pay, equity and benefits may be provided in addition to the base compensation listed above.</p> <p>In accordance with Massachusetts law, Vericel provides the pay range that it reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for a particular and specific employment position at the time of posting or offer.
