<p>Department Summary:</p> <p>Primary Care in the Weymouth satellite offers:</p> <ul> <li>Wellness checkups and preventive care </li><li>Immunizations </li><li>Same-day visits for illnesses and other concerns </li><li>Services and support for children with special health care needs </li><li>Health education </li><li>Mental health and social support </li></ul> <p>Key responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Working in a busy pediatric practice with a wide variety of primary and urgent health care needs. </li><li>Providing nursing care and education to patients with a variety of health care issues including well child care, chronic care health issues, complex family dynamics, developmental concerns, asthma, obesity, and failure to thrive. </li><li>Intertwining anticipatory guidance into each visit. </li><li>Ability to work Mon-Sun (days/eves with weekend rotation to Boston). </li></ul> <p>Minimum qualifications:</p> <p>Education:</p> <ul> <li>BSN degree. </li></ul> <p>Experience:</p> <ul> <li>1 year pediatric nursing experience. (3 years strongly preferred) </li><li>Spanish speaking preferred. </li><li>Primary Care experience preferred. </li><li>Pediatric RN experience preferred. </li></ul> <p>License/Certification:</p> <ul> <li>MA RN license. </li></ul> <p>The posted pay range is Boston Children's reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting.</p> <p>Any base pay offer provided depends on skills, experience, education, certifications, and a variety of other job-related factors.
