<p>Job Summary</p> <p>The Manager, Human Resources is responsible for managing and executing a wide range of human resource functions to support organizational goals and foster a positive work environment. This role serves as a strategic partner to employees and leadership, providing expertise in employee relations, talent development, performance management, and HR policy implementation.</p> <p>Essential Functions</p> <ul> <li>Provides guidance and consultation to employees and leaders on complex employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary actions, and terminations, ensuring alignment with organizational policies and legal compliance. </li><li>Develops, communicates, and implements HR policies and procedures, providing coaching and training to employees and managers as needed. </li><li>Manages HR staff, including hiring, onboarding, performance coaching, and termination processes. </li><li>Oversees performance evaluation processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and facilitating leader coaching for effective evaluations. </li><li>Designs and executes leadership and employee development programs, including training, coaching, and recognition initiatives. </li><li></li><li>Leads organizational change initiatives, such as reduction-in-force (RIF) planning, outsourcing/insourcing recommendations, and managing third-party HR service providers. </li><li>Analyzes HR metrics and trends to provide actionable insights and recommendations to leadership for workforce planning and process improvements. </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned. </li><li>Complies with all policies and standards. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required </li><li>Master's Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration preferred </li><li>4-6 years of progressive experience in human resources, including employee relations, performance management, and leadership development required </li><li>1-3 years of experience managing a team of HR professionals preferred </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment law, and regulatory compliance. </li><li>Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills. </li><li>Proficiency in HR systems and tools, as well as Google Workspace and Microsoft Office applications. </li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. </li><li>Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills to build effective relationships at all levels of the organization. </li></ul> <p>Licenses and Certifications</p> <ul> <li>SHRM-CP preferred or </li><li>SPHR or SHRM-SCP preferred </li></ul> <p>INDNC</p> <p>To apply, please email mary_yu@chs.net</p>
