<p>Position Type:</p> <p>Child Nutrition - Ask about possible $250 Bonus/Site Manager/Assistant Site Manager</p> <p>Date Posted:</p> <p>7/28/2025</p> <p>Location:</p> <p>Twin Oaks Middle School</p> <p>Date Available:</p> <p>08/19/2025</p> <p>Closing Date:</p> <p>Until Filled</p> <p>  Additional Information: Show/Hide</p> <p>Child Nutrition - Assistant Site Manger</p> <p>Begins: August 19, 2025</p> <p>?Training: Tuesday, August 19th</p> <p>7.5 hour per day, 194 days per year</p> <p>$21.49 to $23.27 per hour + certification</p> <p>TITLE: CHILD NUTRITION - MIDDLE SCHOOL ASSISTANT MANAGER</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ol> <li> <p>High school diploma or equivalent.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with food services and/or school nutrition programs, preferred.</p> </li></ol> <ul> <li>Ability to perform job duties in a professional and pleasant manner. </li><li>Ability to work successfully under the pressure of daily production and service timelines. </li><li>Able to lift up to 40 lbs, bend, twist, turn, stand / walk continuously. </li></ul> <p>REPORTS TO: Director of Child Nutrition Services, Child Nutrition Manager, and/or Principal</p> <p>JOB GOALS: Provide a positive culture for students, staff and parents by serving healthy food options to reflect our commitment to nourish the mind and body of all learners.</p> <p>PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Fosters a team environment by assisting all employees with scheduled work demands. </li><li>Communicates and interacts positively with students, teachers, staff, parents, and community members. </li><li>Instructs kitchen personnel in proper lifting techniques, and safe and efficient use and cleaning of all kitchen equipment. </li><li>Maintains the highest standards of safety and cleanliness in the kitchen and cafeteria. </li><li>Prepares food according to a planned menu and tested uniform recipes in proper quantities following dietary guidelines. </li><li>Follows budgetary guidelines to reduce waste and unnecessary inventory. </li><li>Ensures served food is of the best quality both in flavor and appearance. </li><li>Serves food in an efficient and timely manner. </li><li>Periodically works each position in the kitchen suggesting improvements, where needed. </li><li>Assists manager to ensures accurate records are kept for all food served, ordered, and inventoried. </li><li>Communicates quality control issues and/or accidents to the manager and director. </li><li>Obtains and maintains all necessary certifications and licenses, including School Nutrition and MN Department of Health Food Manager. </li><li>Assists manager with marketing and promoting services to attract students, staff, and parents. </li><li>Attends job related training classes and workshops. </li><li>Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned. </li></ul> <p>TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: As per the contract agreement.</p> <p>EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated annually.</p> <p>EVALUATOR: Director of Child Nutrition Services and Child Nutrition Manager</p> <p>REVISED & BOARD APPROVED: February 8, 2016</p>
