This is an excellent opportunity for nurses who are passionate about women's health and committed to providing patient-centered care across the lifespan. Whether you bring prior experience in obstetrics and gynecology or are looking to expand your clinical knowledge in this specialty, we welcome your application.</p> <p>In this role, you will assist in triaging and assessing patient needs, coordinating care, and supporting patients through a wide range of reproductive and gynecologic health concerns. You'll work closely with experienced OB/GYN providers and healthcare professionals in a supportive and collaborative environment.</p> <p>Patient Assessment & Triage</p> <ul> <li>Evaluate incoming patient phone calls to determine the urgency of symptoms such as pelvic pain, vaginal bleeding, pregnancy-related concerns, or infections. </li><li>Provide telephone triage and guide patients to the appropriate level of care, including routine visits, urgent evaluation, or emergency services. </li></ul> <p>Care Coordination</p> <ul> <li>Assist in coordinating care for obstetric and gynecologic patients, including prenatal visits, postpartum follow-up, and management of acute or chronic conditions. </li><li>Communicate effectively with OB/GYN providers and the care team to ensure timely, safe, and comprehensive care. </li></ul> <p>Patient & Family Education</p> <ul> <li>Educate patients and families on pregnancy, postpartum care, contraception, menstrual health, and gynecologic conditions. </li><li>Provide guidance on treatment plans, medications, and preventive care, offering support tailored to individual patient needs. </li></ul> <p>Clinical Documentation & Follow-Up</p> <ul> <li>Accurately document all patient interactions, assessments, and care plans in the electronic health record (EHR). </li><li>Monitor patient progress, track outcomes, and coordinate follow-up care to ensure continuity and quality of care. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Licensure: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Iowa </li><li>Experience: All levels of RN experience will be considered. Prior experience in OBGYN or specialty care is a plus, but not required. </li><li>Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. </li></ul>
