<p>Multiple Options Available</p> <p>KidsPeace Adolescent Unit - DUMMY REQ</p> <p>5300 KidsPeace Drive</p> <p>Direct Client/Patient Care</p> <p>Evening/Nights with weekends/OT as needed</p> <p>We are having a Hiring Event for Direct Care Staff, Supervisors, Clinicians, Teachers, and Teacher Aides to work with our children.</p> <p>WALK-IN HIRING EVENT</p> <p>WEDNESDAY, MAY 21ST</p> <p>10AM - 5PM</p> <p>4085 Independence Drive</p> <p>Schnecksville, PA 18078</p> <p>We are seeking staff to work with at-risk youth. We take pride in our structured program that focuses on changing a client's behaviors, thinking patterns, and values. Our program primarily focuses on implementing behavioral changes to assist with a successful reintegration into the home, family, and community.</p> <p>We are interviewing for the following positions for the Orefield, PA campus:</p> <p>Mental Health Technician - FT/PT</p> <p>3PM-11PM (weekends required)</p> <p>$16.50-$22.00 per hour</p> <p>Providing direct supervision and direction to emotionally and behaviorally challenged children and adolescents in a compassionate and respectful manner. This includes requiring an unwavering commitment to the safety of children and being aware of all ongoing developments and concerns, on a daily basis, of all children in their care. This responsibility also includes demonstrating the ability to distinguish between discipline and punishment as well as seeing past a child's surface behavior to recognize the children in need of help.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Must be 21 years of age or older </li><li>Must have a valid, active driver's license </li><li>Must be able to attend a paid 2 and a half week training, Monday - Friday 9AM-5PM </li><li>Prefer experience with children </li><li>Those attending college for psychology, social work, education, human services are encouraged to apply! </li></ul> <p>Assistant House Manager - FT</p> <p>Responsible for assisting in the administrative coordination of the Residential Unit. This responsibility includes assisting in formulating and implementing formal unit policies and procedures and keeping both the unit staff and clients aware of agency and departmental guidelines. This also includes assisting in the overall functioning of the unit, including staff performance, the quality of the unit program, and any emergencies that may occur.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Associates Degree or 60 college credit hours plus 3 years of work experience with children is required </li><li>Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college in Mental Health or Human Services field plus 1 year of work experience with children is required </li><li>Must be 21 years of age or older </li><li>Must have a valid, active driver's license </li><li>Must be able to attend a paid 2 and a half week training, Monday - Friday 9AM-5PM </li></ul> <p>Special Education Teacher - FT/PT</p> <p>Provide education for KidsPeace students in a highly structured and safe environment. Also, where applicable, provide supervision of the classroom teacher aide.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Must be 21 years of age or older </li><li>Must have a valid, active driver's license </li><li>Must be able to attend a paid 2-week and a half week training, Monday - Friday 9AM-5PM </li><li>Must have a PA Teaching Certificate </li><li>Must have a Bachelors degree in the education field </li></ul> <p>Teacher Aide</p> <p>Assists with the education program designed to provide education and structural programming during the school year. Aides will demonstrate a variety of deescalation and supportive skills which foster a trusting, supportive relationship with the children. Teacher Aides will be actively participating in a variety of educational program needs, including, but not limited to, classroom learning and activities, assisting in facilitating group activities, and other programming needs.</p> <p>7AM-3PM Monday through Friday</p> <p>Hourly Rate: $15-$18</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma required; prefer candidates enrolled in college courses pertaining to Psychology, Social Work, Education and other relatable degrees </li><li>Be 21 years of age or older </li><li>Have a valid driver's license </li><li>Ability to pass physical/drug screen and background checks </li></ul> <p>Training for positions begins June 9th.</p> <p>All positions require staff to be at least 21 years of age or older with a valid, active driver's license.</p> <p>Submit your resume to schedule an interview or call/text Denise at 484 280 6250 for more information!
