If you want to be part of a team that embraces collaboration with a focus on continuous improvement and you think you have what it takes to "wow" our customers, we invite you to apply today!</p> <p>As a cook you will be responsible for limited service of the lounge and bar area including but not limited to: food preparation, food service and limited kitchen prep and responsibilities.</p> <ul> <li>Shift: 5am-1pm- weekends and holidays required </li><li>Cook food and prepare top-quality menu items in a timely manner </li><li>Test foods to ensure proper preparation and temperature </li><li>Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly </li><li>Ensure the proper sanitation and cleanliness of surfaces, storage containers, all areas </li><li>Prepare fresh ingredients for cooking according to recipes/menu </li><li>Assist with the cleaning and organizing of kitchen and equipment </li><li>Maintain a clean and sanitary work area including tables, shelves, grills, burners, ovens, and refrigeration equipment </li><li>Maintain standards of company and state health codes in assigned areas </li><li>Execute and communicate down tasks and jobs from upper management </li><li>Skillfully use pressure fryers, griddle, gas burner and other kitchen equipment needed for your work </li><li>Ability to read and execute recipes </li><li>Understanding of product measurements </li><li>Work with customers / staff with tact and diplomacy </li><li>Perform work that is routine and organized </li><li>Be able to lift forty (40) pounds unassisted and more with assistance; frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to forty (40) pounds </li><li>Be able to reach, handle, see, stand, and walk </li><li>Work primarily indoors </li><li>Adapt to temperature changes, which may include working for a short period of time in the walk-in freezer/cooler or near hot kitchen equipment </li><li>This is not a Monday through Friday job, in fact it requires a flexible schedule that includes weekends, holidays, but it is for you if you love people and have the right attitude!
