We are a member of the nationwide Trinity Health family, bringing compassionate care to our communities.</p> <p>Position Purpose:</p> <p>Performs a variety of duties in and around the buildings of the Hospital complex maintaining and repairing machinery, systems and mechanical equipment, boilers, heating and ventilation equipment, air conditioning and refrigeration systems. Services, operates and maintains the PEVCO and Honeywell Control Systems.</p> <p>What you will do:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Maintains and repairs complete heating and ventilation systems, pumps, machinery, motors, air and vacuum compressors according to established procedures and manufacturer's specifications.</p> </li><li> <p>Installs mechanical, HVAC equipment, controls and piping as required.</p> </li><li> <p>Assists the Coverage Mechanic in handling off duty shift coverage by properly repairing and/or reporting all plant maintenance and emergency requirements and equipment status.</p> </li><li> <p>Interprets blueprints, sketches and written/verbal instructions.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintains, services and tests PEVCO and Honeywell systems according to manufacturer's specifications.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintains all tools and equipment properly and inspects for proper function prior to use.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintains work area in a clean and neat manner according to department standards.</p> </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Must have completed an accredited vocational school trade program or graduated with a high school diploma from a vocational high school. Preferred certificate or diploma in HVAC.</p> </li><li> <p>Must have a minimum of 3+ years of HVAC experience. Healthcare facility setting experience is preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>D-2 License is required.
