<ul> <li>Teach high school science courses, with emphasis on Physics and Chemistry (other courses may be assigned based on background and scheduling needs). </li><li>Develop and deliver high-quality lessons that are aligned with Indiana Academic Standards. </li><li>Create a classroom environment that encourages curiosity, collaboration, and critical thinking. </li><li>Assess student learning and provide meaningful feedback to support growth. </li><li>Participate in professional learning communities, department collaboration, and school-wide initiatives. </li><li>Communicate regularly and effectively with students, families, and colleagues. </li><li>Valid Indiana Teaching License in Secondary Science or the ability to obtain proper certification. </li><li>Endorsements in Physics and/or Chemistry are strongly preferred. </li><li>Strong instructional skills, classroom management, and student-relationship building. </li><li>Commitment to continuous improvement, collaboration, and positive school culture. </li></ul> <p>This position is a long-term substitute role that may evolve into full-time employment for the 2025-2026 school year.
