If you are a compassionate, experienced clinician looking to support adults in crisis while growing professionally, we invite you to join our team. As an AMCI Clinician in our Mobile Crisis Intervention (MCI) program, you will provide life-stabilizing care directly in the community to individuals in acute behavioral health crisis.</p> <p>What You'll Do:</p> <p>As an Adult Mobile Crisis Intervention (AMCI) Clinician, you will deliver urgent, in-person crisis assessment and intervention services to adults (age 21+) across community settings. You'll work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to stabilize individuals and prevent unnecessary hospitalization, providing both initial intervention and follow-up support to promote recovery.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Provide in-person behavioral health crisis assessments, stabilization, and post-stabilization services in the community </li><li>Collaborate with psychiatrists, program directors, peer specialists, recovery coaches, and other team members to determine care plans </li><li>Educate recipients on treatment recommendations and community resources </li><li>Identify diversion strategies to reduce reliance on inpatient psychiatric hospitalization </li><li>Provide consultation to other clinicians completing crisis evaluations </li></ul> <p>What We Offer:</p> <ul> <li>Flexible Schedule: Community-based role with travel across the service area </li><li>Supportive Environment: Work within a dedicated crisis response team </li><li>Professional Growth: Opportunities for training and supervision </li><li>Diverse Workplace: Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply </li></ul> <p>What You'll Bring:</p> <ul> <li>Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field (required) </li><li>Minimum of 2 years of experience in crisis evaluation or stabilization services (preferred) </li><li>Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for community-based service delivery (required) </li><li>Strong communication and clinical assessment skills </li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative setting </li></ul> <p>We Hire for Purpose!</p> <p>Since 1938, Behavioral Health Network has been dedicated to providing high-quality, affordable, and culturally appropriate behavioral health care across Western Massachusetts.
