Sorts, scans, indexes and performs quality accuracy checks on medical record documents before submitting to the electronic medical record. Performs detailed work by examining all documents for accuracy per patient for quality and quantity standards. Multi-task oriented with the ability to appropriately handle complex issues. Processes incoming requests for medical information of all types and releasing of records according to HIPAA guidelines. Assists with department coverage to include all HIM duties.
