You can also participate in our 401(k) plan with company match and explore post-tax Roth IRA options to secure your financial future.</p> </li><li> <p>Established Legacy: Join a team of over 1000 employees contributing to our success since 1960, with a proven track record of excellence in mechanical contracting.</p> </li></ul> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES</p> <ul> <li> <p>Supervise and coordinate activities of assigned tradesmen.</p> </li><li> <p>Interpret specifications, blueprints, submittals, and job orders as needed for area of supervision.</p> </li><li> <p>Direct assemblies and installations at job sites.</p> </li><li> <p>Order materials, equipment, and tools as needed to maintain efficient use of labor resources.</p> </li><li> <p>Interpret company policies to workers and enforce safety regulations.</p> </li><li> <p>Establish and adjust work sequences to meet construction schedules, using knowledge of capacities of equipment and assigned personnel.</p> </li><li> <p>Study schedules and estimate man-hour requirements for completion of jobs.</p> </li><li> <p>Analyze and resolve work problems.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain accurate time records for assigned crew.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform a variety of duties as assigned and which may change often.</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS</p> <ul> <li> <p>Experience with commercial sheet metal ductwork installations.</p> </li><li> <p>Pipefitting and welding experience.</p> </li><li> <p>Understand shop math; work skillfully with tools, PVCs, and machines.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to visualize three-dimensional objects from drawings, sketches, or blueprints.</p> </li><li> <p>Work within precise limits and standards; perform a variety of duties which often change.</p> </li><li> <p>Rate information using measurable standards.</p> </li><li> <p>Completion of an apprenticeship program and appropriate journeyman experience.</p> </li><li> <p>Good communication and organizational skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to use software for calendars, planning, and workflow processes.</p> </li></ul> <p>Safety Awareness</p> <p>Drug test, background check, and a clean driving record are pre-employment requirements.</p> <p>B&I makes safety a priority for all roles.
