<p>JOB SUMMARY</p> <p>Monday-Friday 10am-7pm</p> <p>Primary Responsibility is overseeing Pre-Sales department.</p> <p>The primary duties of this department is test, repair clean and package fast moving inventory prior to customers placing an order. In addition, perform incoming evaluation of items purchased inventory to insure we are not buying defective goods and these items are accurately received.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>All aspects of strategic planning for production, packaging and storage of our top selling part numbers </li><li>Staging and coordinating high volume jobs from Receiving through Production and back to stock </li><li>Reporting of analytics of department performance </li><li>Strong knowledge of all aspects of Production, Operations, and Inventory computer software </li><li>Assisting with various duties as they relate to the quality assurance processes of Radwell International. </li><li>Use of systems to document performed work </li><li>Perform pre-eval of incoming units. </li><li>Make sure units are complete including all hardware and software. </li><li>Assure proper labeling of all units. </li><li>Identifying need and suggesting/building/implementing new test fixtures/assets/talent/training/research etc. </li><li>Spot check 5 units daily for quality of workmanship </li><li>Monthly positive Report for your team. </li><li>Run daily numbers report and post in the shop for all to see. </li><li>Keep all benches podiums and common areas clean at all times </li><li>Proper use of MRS reporting system is required </li><li>Provide input on technician performance to Production Manager during both Monthly and Annual Review process </li><li>Other duties may be assigned </li></ul> <p>SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Number of Employees Supervised- (12) </li><li>Quality Assurance Pre-Certification Test Technician- (12) </li><li>Positions with direct reports are responsible to hold periodic safety training sessions (currently once a month) with said employees. Subject matter will be distributed at the monthly managers' staff meeting. Subsequent to training sessions, managers must forward a confirming Training report to each direct report using the Management Reporting System. </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>Must have a proven track record in a similar technical environment </li><li>Must understand the products being repaired and processed from technical background and experience; should be able to provide technical advice and assistance to all phases of the production cycle. </li><li>Strong computer skills; ability to learn and understand Radwell computer systems to perform job tasks in an automated environment </li><li>Previous managerial and/or supervisory experience. </li><li>A positive attitude with the ability to supervise and motivate employees in a team-oriented environment. </li><li>Ability to work well with upper management in implementing directives and other supervisory personnel in operating the department. </li><li>Ability to identify needed improvements in existing processes and implement changes. </li><li>Willingness to work irregular hours, including weekends if necessary, in order to complete assignments on schedule in order to meet objectives. </li><li>Good organizational and communication skills. </li><li>Ability to handle relationships with customers and suppliers. </li><li>Ability to evaluate and solve problems as they occur. </li></ul> <p>KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED</p> <ul> <li>Strong Computer proficiency </li><li>Ability to multi-task </li><li>Strong organizational skills </li><li>Assist IT/Inform IT of changes to promote program efficiency </li><li>Ability to work in a fast paced environment </li><li>Attention to detail </li><li>Problem solving abilities </li><li>Good communication skills </li><li>Ability to communicate with customers, vendors or technical support in a professional manner </li><li>Must own/use your own tools </li></ul> <p>PHYSICAL DEMANDS</p> <ul> <li>Occasional sitting, reaching/working overhead, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling </li><li>Frequent walking </li><li>Continuous standing and repetitive hand motion </li><li>Occasional sitting, reaching/working overhead, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling </li><li>Continuous standing and repetitive hand motion </li><li>Lifting requirements include frequent lifting of up to 25 pounds and continuous lifting of up to 10 pounds </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma and/or technical school required </li><li>One to three years related experience and/or training </li><li>Prior supervisory experience needed </li><li>Technical product knowledge required </li><li>Electronic industry experience required </li></ul>
