<p>Responsibilities for this Position</p> <p>Maintenance Machinist - Entry Level (Semi-Skilled)</p> <p>US-CT-Groton</p> <p>Job ID: 2025-16610</p> <p>Type: Full-Time</p> <p># of Openings: 2</p> <p>Category: Manufacturing Support/Trades</p> <p>EB Groton Shipyard</p> <p>Overview</p> <p>The candidate will be required to perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot and repair EB cranes and other lifting and handling equipment.</p> <p>The position will possess a working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical gearing, brakes, couplings, clutches, bearings, seals, and hoists. The candidate will work to technical manual and technical document requirements and work directly with engineering.</p> <p>Must be familiar with torque wrenches, feeler gauges, micrometers, dial calipers and other hand tools. Candidate must be available for overtime. Must be able to work at heights up to 150 feet, all types of weather and temperature. Must obtain or have a J worker qualification.
