May work in a crew or independently. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Considerable knowledge of tools, equipment & materials used in general building maintenance & construction trades applicable to the job. Considerable knowledge of the techniques, methods & practices of the designated trades areas. Minimum requirements: Accreditation from a technical school or an applicable skilled trades program and no prior work experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and/or experience. Installs plumbing fixtures & repairs/modifies existing systems. Eliminates leaks by repacking/replacing faulty valves, fittings, pipe sections.
