<p>Piper Companies is seeking a Software Engineer - (C# .NET) to support an engineering team within the industrial technology industry. The Software Engineer - (C# .NET) will work on edge-device software, data workflows, and multidisciplinary engineering initiatives. The Software Engineer - C# .NET) is a full time opportunity and requires you to sit on site 5 days per week in Raleigh, NC.</p> <p>Responsibilities of the Software Engineer - (C# .NET):</p> <ul> <li>Develop and maintain C# .NET software for edge devices. </li><li>Work within a KANBAN workflow, owning tasks from development through testing and release. </li><li>Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, data/vision, and automation teams. </li><li>Support testing tools and associate software that enable device data flow. </li><li>Ensure stable device communication using MQTT, REST APIs, and related technologies. </li></ul> <p>Requirements of the Software Engineer - (C# .NET):</p> <ul> <li>4+ years of professional software development experience. </li><li>Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience. </li><li>Strong proficiency in C# and .NET frameworks. </li><li>Multidisciplinary engineering exposure (mechanical, electrical, vision/data, automation). </li><li>On-site presence required 5 days per week with occasional remote flexibility as needed. </li></ul> <p>Bonus Points:</p> <ul> <li>IoT device experience </li><li>MQTT </li><li>REST API development </li><li>Experience with edge equipment </li></ul> <p>Compensation for the Software Engineer - (C# .NET):</p> <ul> <li>$90,000 - $130,000 base salary + Bonus + Equity </li><li>Full Comprehensive Benefits: Health, Vision, Dental, PTO, Paid Holiday and Sick Leave if Required by Law. </li></ul> <p>Keywords:</p> <p>C# .NET, edge devices, IoT, MQTT, REST APIs, multidisciplinary engineering, industrial technology, KANBAN, automation, device workflows, software testing, data movement, edge systems, associate software tools</p> <p>This job opens for applications on 2/27/2026.
