This role is part of the South Texas Stabilized Sand business unit.</p> <p>What you'll get to do</p> <ul> <li>Ensure effective, efficient and financially responsible site operations </li><li>Lead safety & health for your site and ensure regulatory and company policy compliance </li><li>With Area Manager, safely direct the daily work of site employees </li><li>Schedule customer orders and address the needs of the customer </li><li>Coach and train site personnel on safety, customer service and plant operations </li><li>Maintain accurate cement/materials and fuel inventories </li><li>Dispatch independent haul trucks to maximize routes </li><li>Troubleshoot and address any PUG mill plant issues that may arise </li><li>Maintain daily/monthly reporting requirements </li></ul> <p>Essential Experience and Skills</p> <ul> <li>At least 3 years of sand and gravel experience, or at least 5 years of experience in construction materials or a closely related industry </li><li>Proven strong customer service and communication skills </li><li>Motivation and ability to embrace all the aspects of the job such as accountability for the people, assets, and performance of the site; work fluctuating hours; and personally, doing manual labor such as repairing equipment, shoveling, and lifting </li><li>Bilingual in Spanish is preferred, but not required </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <ul> <li>The hourly rate for this position is $25-$27/hr plus overtime </li><li>Role operates in a manufacturing environment with moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, humidity, elevated noise levels, and dusty conditions </li></ul>
