<p>Field Service Tech - Mining Equipment</p> <p>Sign-on Bonus: $2000</p> <p>Position Overview</p> <p>Arnold Machinery is seeking a Field Service Technician to join our dedicated machinery support team. With the training we provide, you will help maintain our outstanding reputation in the marketplace.</p> <p>Essential Job Functions</p> <ul> <li>Repair and maintain construction and mining equipment </li><li>Travel to various job sites </li><li>Disassemble, clean, and reassemble machinery </li><li>Follow service manuals and use the necessary tools for repairs </li><li>Measure, identify, and order replacement parts </li><li>Use diagnostic equipment to adjust machines and systems </li><li>Make warranty recommendations and provide detailed reports </li><li>Perform minor welding, fabrication, plumbing alignment, and D.C. electric repairs </li><li>Guide and supervise subordinates during repairs </li><li>Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean workspace </li><li>Complete service reports in English </li><li>Assist with parts ordering and warranty work orders </li><li>Manage field service work orders and customer purchase orders </li><li>Open and close work orders and handle service calls </li><li>Provide customers with updates on job status and progress </li><li>Participate in special projects as needed </li></ul> <p>Non-Essential Job Functions</p> <ul> <li>Assist the Service Manager with various tasks </li><li>Maintain the cleanliness of your workspace and/or truck </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands and Working Conditions</p> <ul> <li>Frequent walking and moving on uneven terrain </li><li>Lifting over 50 lbs. </li><li>Operating hand and power tools </li><li>Reaching, bending, and climbing into/out of equipment </li><li>Ability to read work tickets, parts, and service manuals </li><li>Communicating via radio, phone, and in-person </li><li>Sitting in equipment and vehicles </li><li>Lying under equipment for repairs </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other MS Office programs </li><li>Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills </li><li>Ability to use office machines (fax, copier, computer, etc.) </li></ul> <p>Benefits Offered</p> <ul> <li>Paid Sick Leave, Vacation, and Holidays </li><li>Full medical coverage (company pays 100% of premiums for employees and their families) </li><li>Dental and Vision plans </li><li>401K/Roth with company match </li><li>Quarterly and Yearly Bonus programs </li><li>Company Stock for employees with 5+ years of service </li></ul> <p>Note: This job description is not all-inclusive.
