<p>Job Summary</p> <p>Market Development Associate is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities to drive growth and market expansion. This role involves researching market trends, customer needs and competitive strategies for increasing market share and brand awareness. Market Development Associate collaborates internally with cross functional teams in creating new profitable growth opportunities and contributes in building strategic relationships with customers.</p> <p>Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Creating Visibility at identified Key Top customers in key vertical markets (Medical/Life Science) </li><li>Market and Customer Mapping / Segmentation to quantify available market for growth and EFD share. </li><li>Competitor Analysis to understand technology and commercial gaps. </li><li>Records interactions in CRM and assigns leads/activities for Commercial Team to follow up </li><li>Utilizes all available sales tools, collateral, and application translations </li><li>Partners with Key Account managers and local representatives for seamless lead transfer </li><li>Interacts with marketing and sales on content needs, ideas, and tools for better market penetration </li><li>Self-starter who is driven and wants to be challenged and considered for future advancement </li><li>Engages in continuous professional development training sessions (Nordson University,etc). </li><li>Assigns, partners, and transitions new leads to assign local sales reps for next step interaction </li><li>Thrives in a dynamic diverse team-based company culture </li><li>Tracks campaign success and reports on mapping of manufacturing sites and new contacts at all engagement levels, weekly. </li><li>Promotes best-in-class brand awareness and product offerings </li><li>Partners with cross functional teams to promote collaboration and sharing of the information. </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Education and Experience Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree </li><li>In lieu of a degree, equivalent experience & education may be considered </li><li>Enjoy building relationships and connecting with others </li><li>Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications </li></ul> <p>Skills and Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Comfortable with customer face-to-face interaction </li><li>Goal-orientated self-starter </li><li>Intent on advancement and career progression </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills </li></ul> <p>Working Conditions and Physical Demands</p> <p>Office or Manufacturing environment.
