<p>Xavier University's Office of Central Procurement and Accounts Payable is seeking a highly motivated and experienced University Travel Manager to oversee and manage travel operations for academic, student services, and faculty-led programs. This role involves coordinating domestic and international travel, managing relationships with international partners and vendors, and ensuring compliance with university policies and regulations.</p> <p>Job Responsibilities include but not limited to:</p> <p>Travel Administration:</p> <ul> <li>Manage logistics for travel programs, collaborating with faculty, staff, students, and vendors. </li><li>Prepare payments, verify documentation, and request disbursements. </li><li>Process expense statements, purchase orders, and wire transfers. </li><li>Ensure credits are received and appropriately applied. </li><li>Review and approve expense claims in the eProcurement system. </li><li>Develop strong working relationships with regional suppliers such as TMC, airlines, and hotels. </li><li>Provide excellent customer service to solve travel-related issues in real time. </li><li>Act as a backup for training in areas of expenses, P-Cards, and travel policies. </li><li>Maintain workflow by analyzing and refining standard operation procedures, such as scheduling, communications, budget administration, purchasing, etc </li></ul> <p>P-Card Program Management:</p> <ul> <li>Review traveler applications and ensure correct P-Card product connection. </li><li>Communicate with campus cardholders regarding deadlines and information. </li><li>Resolve issues with US Bank, Accounts Payable, and cardholders. </li><li>Develop metrics and reports on P-Card usage and spend patterns. </li><li>Educate campus on fraud prevention tools and participate in U.S. Bank training. </li></ul> <p>Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervise student workers in the business office.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Associate's degree required in Business Administrations or related field; Bachelor's degree preferred in Business Administration or related field </li><li>3 to 5 years of relevant experience </li><li>Firm working knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures in varied situations. </li><li>Ability to adapt to a changing environment and handle multiple priorities. </li><li>Excellent writing and analytical skills. </li><li>Advanced skills in analytical problem-solving, project/process management, and computer/technical proficiency (Microsoft Office). </li><li>Workday experience a plus </li><li>Excellent written and oral communication skills. </li><li>Ability to collaborate and interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders. </li></ul> <p>To ensure consideration, qualified/interested applicants must submit a cover letter, resume and the names and contact information of three professional references on Xavier University's website.
