The teachers demonstrate the competencies, energy, and positive attitude needed to encourage and teach all students' academic and social preparedness.</p> <p>Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>401k with a company match of 7% </li><li>Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance </li><li>Paid time off </li><li>Retention, Returning Employee, and Winter Bonuses </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree </li><li>Current North Carolina teaching license </li><li>Prior teaching experience is preferred, but not required </li></ul> <p>Skills, Duties, and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Knows and understands NC State Standard Course of Study to develop proficient and effective lesson plans for grade level/subject areas.</p> </li><li> <p>Establishes a safe and orderly environment and a culture to empower students</p> </li><li> <p>Manage various classroom behaviors and try to minimize disruptions to learning</p> </li><li> <p>Participate in MTSS process and procedures at TMSA to provide equitable and valuable education for all students</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrate leadership behaviors from the Leader In Me program that TMSA implements schoolwide</p> </li><li> <p>Works collaboratively with school personnel to create a professional learning community</p> </li><li> <p>Develops goals and strategies through the school improvement plan</p> </li><li> <p>Open to constructive feedback from lead teachers, coaches, and administrators</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to differentiate instruction according to student's needs</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborates with colleagues to mentor and support teachers to improve the effectiveness of department or grade level</p> </li><li> <p>Appreciates differences and values contributions of each student by building positive, appropriate relationships</p> </li><li> <p>Regularly assess students, both formative and summative.</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrate technology/instructional media competency to enhance learning</p> </li><li> <p>Work with parents and guardians to promote positive behavioral support and a respectful yet nurturing learning environment</p> </li><li> <p>Other duties assigned by the Principal</p> </li></ul>
