In addition, we are committed to being a great place to work for all team members.</p> <p>We also offer a great comprehensive benefit package for all employees who average 20+ hours per week that includes:</p> <ul> <li>Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance </li><li>401(k) with company match and immediate vesting </li><li>Short-term and Long-term disability </li><li>Life insurance </li><li>Critical Illness </li><li>Flexible Spending Accounts </li><li>Health Savings Account with Employer contribution </li><li>PTO, Sick leave, Bereavement leave </li><li>Employee Assistance Program </li><li>Fitness Centers </li></ul> <p>Job Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Maintain efficient patient flow of clinic </li><li>Check in patients obtaining accurate vitals, reviewing medical histories, and medications </li><li>Accurately document appropriate patient visit information in EMR </li><li>Accurately document any patient communication in EMR </li><li>Accurately E-prescribe prescriptions as directed under direct supervision of physician </li><li>Communicate effectively with patients and act as liaison between patients and physician </li><li>Maintain exam rooms with appropriate supplies </li><li>Answer patient phone calls and questions per physician protocol </li><li>Assist with scheduling outside tests and referrals as requested per physician </li><li>Assist with scheduling surgeries and obtaining authorization as required </li><li>Follow-up with patients on test results and after surgeries </li><li>Complete FMLA forms as directed by physician </li><li>Obtain authorization for medications not listed as formulary </li><li>Maintain clean and safe environment in clinic area and examination rooms utilizing basic standards and procedures as set forth by OSHA </li><li>Maintain and sterilize equipment following OSHA protocols </li><li>Respect and maintain dignity of all patients </li><li>Inventory clinic supplies on a regular basis maintaining adequate supply for efficient patient flow </li><li>Assist physician with in-office procedures and other patient related activities as requested </li><li>Participate in staff meetings and educational activities as required </li><li>Other duties as requested by Office Supervisor </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Ability to multi-task </li><li>Strong communication skills </li><li>Time management and organizational skills </li><li>Attention to detail </li><li>Preferred medical office experience </li></ul>
