<p>Job Description:</p> <p>JOB DUTIES</p> <ul> <li>Coordinates and schedules production in an efficient manner while attaining quality </li><li>Monitors and reacts to Statistical Process Control information, shuts down equipment when there are process problems and makes necessary corrections </li><li>Train new mixers </li><li>Schedules and performs routine preventative maintenance of equipment </li><li>Identifies, isolates, and corrects equipment malfunctions </li><li>Ability to accurately measure, weigh, and add chemical raw materials manually or automatically </li><li>Manufacture material according to batch cards and mixing work instructions using computer software </li><li>Perform routine batch quality checks and testing </li><li>Sanitizes/Cleans mixing equipment per work instructions at scheduled intervals </li><li>Monitors integrity of mixes and shuts down operation if out of compliance </li><li>Responsible for accurate and timely reporting of production, labor and scrap incurred during the shift </li><li>Assures that chemical mixers are trained in operations that pertain to the mixing area </li><li>Assures MRO parts are maintained at desired levels, ordering those items as needed </li><li>Promotes and follows all safety guidelines and procedures </li><li>Recommends safety improvements as needed </li><li>Performs various other duties as necessary. </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma/GED required </li><li>3-4 years of batch mixing experience in hand cleaner or related industry </li><li>Must be computer literate </li><li>Must be certified to drive all types of lift trucks: low-lift, fork-lift, high-lift </li><li>Must be able to understand and carry out oral and/or written instructions. </li></ul> <p>Compensation Information:</p> <p>$29.00 - $34</p> <p>ITW is an equal opportunity employer.
