<p>Job Summary: The main purpose of the Sr. Content Optimization Specialist is to ensure best-in-class merchandising across Meyer's e-commerce and retailer platforms to maximize online conversion of our brands and products. Using extensive product knowledge and a consumer-first mindset, continually review, test, launch, and optimize homepages, landing pages, product detail pages, and promotions to improve conversions and drive revenue. Continually audit and survey the top retail partners to identify new and better ways to merchandise our products with the goal of increasing traffic and conversion. Extract insights about our products via customer reviews and A/B test results to help sales leaders and PM teams update and develop new products for sale within the e-commerce channel as well as identify improved ways to communicate and market existing products.</p> <p>The Sr. Content Optimization Specialist's duties will cover 1-2 Meyer brands.</p> <p>Essential Job Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Partner with brand, marketing, CRO, and creative services to launch, test, and optimize landing pages and home pages to improve product/brand positioning to drive increased conversion. </li><li>Partner with brand, marketing, CRO, and creative services to launch, test, and optimize promotions to drive increased conversion while maximizing profitability. </li><li>Continuously evaluate and optimize Meyer's copy, content, images, etc., across our e-commerce and retailer platforms to identify improvements that better engage consumers and drive increased conversion. </li><li>Partner closely with cross-functional teams to create best-in-class assets for e-commerce and brand pages that relay critical information in a manner that fits within e-commerce and retailer product, landing, and home pages. </li><li>Document effective content and messaging from other brands within and outside the housewares industry and make recommendations for incorporating into our content, copy, images, etc. Share recommendations with Creative and Brand teams. Identify opportunities to develop missing content where needed and lead initiative to create them. </li><li>Lead enhanced content updates on Amazon A+ and Wayfair, and Wayfair brand page updates. </li><li>Review new launches from our brands and competitors to review storytelling effectiveness, gauge consumer feedback and acceptance on ecommerce, and share learnings with internal teams. </li><li>Identify products with substandard reviews, partner with CR on which items need Manufacturer response to reviews. Collect key observations from reviews and share with appropriate teams to address issues on site (i.e. inform copywriters so that critical questions can be addressed in bullets) and for future product development (PM, QA team) </li><li>Maintain a high level of product knowledge of all Meyer brands and products. </li><li>Review and analyze competitive product on retailer sites to gauge tactics used to advantage their brands, communicate benefits, and offer product differentiation for channel and pricing purposes. </li><li>All other related duties as directed by Head of E-Commerce. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in a business-related discipline or equivalent experience required. </li><li>Extensive product knowledge of the Meyer brands. </li><li>High understanding of the consumer's mentality for our core categories. </li><li>Highly analytical with a strong balance of quantitative and qualitative techniques preferred. </li><li>Strong proficiency with MS Excel </li><li>Detail oriented and highly organized. </li><li>The ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. </li><li>Proficiency with MS Office, Internet and G-mail. </li><li>Experience with A/B testing methodologies is a plus. </li><li>Able to handle pressure and maintain a calm and courteous manner. </li><li>Effective verbal and written communication skills in English. </li><li>Demonstrate proper phone/video etiquette and communicate clearly and professionally. </li><li>Quick learner who is able to adopt new technologies and processes easily. </li><li>Able to work and think independently. </li><li>Able to work in a fast paced team environment. </li></ul> <p>Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>Medical, Dental and Vision </li><li>Company Paid Life Insurance </li><li>Flexible Spending Account </li><li>401(k) with a 6% match (4% vested immediately, remaining 2% vested over a four-year period) </li><li>Generous Paid Time Off </li><li>8 Sick Days per year, with rollover </li><li>12 Holidays, plus two Floating Holidays per year </li><li>Paid Parental Leave </li><li>Hybrid Work Schedule </li><li>Dog Friendly Workplace </li><li>Tuition Assistance Program </li><li>Adoption/Infertility Benefits </li><li>Wellness Programs, including a Gym Subsidy </li><li>Generous Product Discounts </li></ul> <p>$70,000 to $90,000, DOE</p>
