<p>Job Description Summary</p> <p>MUSC Community Physicians (MCP) is an entity within the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) that provides healthcare to patients within the rural health network throughout the state of South Carolina.</p> <p>The Business Development Manager reports to the System Administrative Officer, MUSC Community Physicians. Under supervision, the Business Development Manager executes evaluation, implementation, onboarding, and tracking of potential business development activities for MUSC's regional health network. Under supervision, the Business Development Manager executes evaluation, implementation, onboarding, and tracking of potential business development activities for MUSC's regional health network. In this role, the Business Development Manager is responsible for cultivating relationships, increasing care coordination, and achieving new growth targets within MUSC Community Physicians.</p> <p>The Business Development Manager will serve as part of the company's acquisition and growth team and will engage in cross-functional collaboration with all departments throughout MUSC Health, driving profitable revenue growth and success in the process.</p> <p>Minimum Training and Education: Master's Degree from an accredited college/university (MHA, MHSA, MBA, MPH, or other relevant degree and a minimum of three years relevant experience; A bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in marketing, business, communications, health education or a clinical program in a professional health care discipline (Registered Nursing, Radiologic Technology, Medical Technology, Respiratory, Occupational or Physical Therapy, Pharmacy, etc.) with a minimum of four years of direct sales and product development experience preferred. Must be self-motivated with excellent relationship building, project management, organization, and communication skills.
