<p>Department</p> <p>New Student and Family Programs</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Manages events and meetings on behalf of the Undergraduate Student Experience Strategy (USES) group. Schedules regular meetings, prepares agendas and minutes, and coordinates communication as needed. Assists in facilitation of milestone programs for students including, but not limited to Hello FSU, Welcome FSU, and Farewell FSU. </li><li>Leads a curriculum-based student development model that intentionally guides student growth and engagement from admission through graduation. Leads the design, coordination, and implementation of campus-wide programs and experiences that support holistic student learning and success on behalf of DSA. Develops and manages assessment strategies to capture and analyze student engagement data and University touchpoints, identifies trends, and translates findings into actionable recommendations for the Director and Division leadership. </li><li>Collaborates extensively with DSA units, campus partners, and external vendors to ensure cohesive, developmentally grounded programming aligned with university priorities. Prepares and manages the annual budget, including forecasting needs, monitoring expenditures, and ensuring responsible stewardship of resources. Regularly solicits and integrates feedback from students, faculty, and staff to refine programs and respond to evolving student needs. </li><li>Works with the Graduate Student Resource Center, Council of Graduate Students, and Transfer Student Services Office to develop and implement student experience opportunities and initiatives across campus for these respective populations. </li><li>Supervises the Media Specialist position. Works closely with the DSA and CARE Marketing Team to develop and implement a training plan that aligns with Division marketing standards. Oversees the vision and communication to incoming and returning students and their families including integrated marketing campaigns and social media. </li><li>Supports Departmental programs, serves on Division and University committees, and leads or supports special projects and initiatives as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Bachelor's degree and four years of experience related to academic and/or student services; or a high school diploma/equivalent and eight years of relevant experience.
