<p>Description</p> <p>The Operations Manager in Equipment Finance ensures seamless end-to-end operations across collections and title/records administration (including UCC, insurance, collateral, and titles). This role champions efficiency, regulatory compliance, and team development within a dynamic financial services environment.</p> <p>WE OFFER A FULL BENEFITS PACKAGE FOR ELIGIBLE EMPLOYEES INCLUDING:</p> <ul> <li>Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance </li><li>Life (Voluntary and Employer Paid) and Disability Insurance </li><li>401(K) with company match beginning with your first contribution. </li><li>HSA and/or FSA, as applicable </li><li>Paid Time Off, Sick Time, and Company Paid Holidays </li><li>Employee Car Discount Program </li></ul> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <p>Collections</p> <ul> <li>Lead and manage the collections team; set departmental goals, monitor KPIs, and ensure timely and accurate recoveries. </li><li>Develop and implement collection strategies and policies to minimize delinquencies while maintaining customer relationships. </li><li>Oversee case escalations and negotiate settlements in line with company policy and regulatory guidelines. </li><li>Monitor and report on collections performance metrics; identify opportunities for improvement. </li><li>Ensure compliance with applicable collection laws and internal standards. </li></ul> <p>Title / Records / Collateral / UCC / Insurance</p> <ul> <li>Lead and manage teams responsible for UCC filing, titles, insurance tracking, records management, and collateral services. </li><li>Audit, track, and escalate issues related to critical title and record operations. </li><li>Implement remediation and improvements as needed. </li><li>Collaborate with IT/technology partners to automate processes, enhance efficiency, and maintain risk levels. </li><li>Maintain accurate documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs), ensuring regulatory and internal compliance. </li></ul> <p>Operational Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration</p> <ul> <li>Oversee staffing, training, performance evaluations, and professional development across both collections and title functions. </li><li>Drive process improvements and workflow optimizations through analytics, portfolio diagnostics, and automation. </li><li>Build strong working relationships with cross-functional departments-Sales, Originations, Finance, Risk, and Technology-to align on strategies and resolve operational issues. </li><li>Prepare reports and dashboards to communicate performance, risks, and opportunities to senior leadership. </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <p>WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL ABILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Requires frequent sitting for prolonged periods of time in an office setting. </li><li>Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator, and other office equipment. </li><li>Ability to communicate providing verbal feedback in a professional manner. </li><li>Ability to receive and analyze data and input into the computer. </li><li>Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. </li><li>Normal range of hearing and vision. </li></ul> <p>REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field required. </li><li>Minimum 8-10 years in financial services operations, ideally in equipment finance, asset-based lending, or banking. </li><li>At least 5 years in management roles overseeing collections, title, or related operational teams. </li><li>Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building capabilities. </li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office and operational tools; experience with PowerBI or similar systems preferred. </li><li>Analytical mindset with process improvement orientation (Six Sigma or or similar experience beneficial). </li><li>Excellent communication (written and verbal), organizational, and problem-solving skills. </li><li>Strong understanding of regulatory compliance in collections and titles. </li></ul> <p>JOB DETAILS:</p> <ul> <li>Type: Salary </li><li>Compensation Range: $115,000 - $130,000 </li><li>Bonus Eligibility: Yes </li><li>Reports To: President </li><li>Closing Date: When Filled </li></ul>
