This role supports operations, conducts inspections, assists Mobile Engineers and Control System Technicians, trains Maintenance Mechanics, and performs independent maintenance tasks to ensure facility operations run smoothly.</p> <p>Your day-to-day tasks will include:</p> <ul> <li>Performing maintenance and repairs on various systems including HVAC/R equipment, lighting, motors, pumps, and plumbing </li><li>Conducting preventative maintenance on rooftop units, refrigeration systems, auto/overhead doors, and food equipment </li><li>Troubleshooting electrical systems including 480V 3-phase, 110 VAC, and 24VDC components </li><li>Supporting and troubleshooting conveyors, sortation systems, and control equipment </li><li>Documenting work performance and managing materials procurement as directed </li><li>Maintaining compliance with safety procedures, state/local codes, and hazardous material handling protocols </li><li>Participating in on-call rotation and responding to after-hours service calls as needed </li><li>Assisting Mobile Engineers and training staff with lesser technical skills </li></ul> <p>Desired experience and technical skills:</p> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED equivalent </li><li>Valid state driver's license with clean driving record </li><li>Ability to identify and troubleshoot food service equipment, PLC components, and motor controls </li><li>Experience with electrical troubleshooting including 480V 3-phase systems </li><li>Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills </li><li>Ability to interpret mechanical and electrical drawings </li><li>Physical ability to lift 80 lbs, use ladders up to 30 ft, and perform frequent climbing, bending, and kneeling </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English </li><li>Self-motivation to work independently or in a team environment </li></ul> <p>Preferred:</p> <ul> <li>Completion of applicable technical training program with minimum one year experience in building maintenance </li><li>Systems controls knowledge or programming experience </li><li>EPA Certification (Type 1, 2 or Universal) </li><li>Experience with UPS components and troubleshooting </li><li>Advanced automation controls systems experience </li><li>UST Class B Certification </li></ul> <p>Location:</p> <p>On-site -Dayton, OH</p> <p>If this job description resonates with you, we encourage you to apply, even if you don't meet all the requirements.
