<p>Overview:</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Modify or create implementation documents, applying standard architectural techniques and procedures, according to written and verbal specifications with general supervision </li><li>Collaborate on design and technical resolution and coordination for a defined portion of a project </li><li>Assist in preparing client presentations and present project design intent </li><li>Perform product research; and assist project designers with material selection and system research </li><li>May support research of code and zoning requirements </li><li>May attend on-site visits, field reviews and client and/or project meetings and documents these visits as appropriate </li><li>Assist in preparing schedules and reviewing implementation documents and samples as needed </li><li>Communicate with other disciplines, vendors and contractors to incorporate information into design, project requirements and documents as needed </li><li>Provide guidance and direction to entry-level staff as appropriate </li><li>Participate in team meetings to discuss project issues, design and technical issues and coordination with other disciplines </li><li>Perform work in a manner that demonstrates an awareness of and an appreciation for the firm's cultural values, including a commitment to quality, innovation, learning and growth </li><li>Foster and maintain a collaborative professional working relationship with the project team </li><li>Promote the firm's principles of 'design excellence' through the integration of responsible and sustainable design practice with the art of design </li><li>Recognize the financial aspect of a project and basic accounting principles involved in the project's and firm's profitability </li><li>Understand the financial implications of overhead and chargeable time, including accountability to project plan and planned utilization rate </li><li>Understand the importance of growing and maintaining client relationships and the basic concept of business development </li><li>Assist in pursuit of new design job opportunities either through relationship development or identifying additional work from existing clients </li><li>Work with design materials, construction techniques, building codes, and quality control procedures </li><li>Use Autodesk Revit, Adobe Photoshop, Rhino, Grasshopper, Enscape, Adobe InDesign software, and three-dimensional computer visualization software tools; as well as Word, Excel and PowerPoint software for creating writing </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Architecture, or a related field, and 2 years of experience in the job offered or as an Architect, Design Professional, or in a related/similar position </li><li>Experience therein to include 2 years of experience in architectural design and documentation, and using Autodesk Revit, Adobe Photoshop, Rhino, Grasshopper, Enscape, Adobe InDesign software, and three-dimensional computer visualization software tools </li><li>2 years of experience working with design materials, building codes, and quality control procedures </li><li>2 years of experience in creative writing using Word, Excel and PowerPoint software </li><li>2 years of experience working with team-based project delivery methods.
