<p>ASRC Federal Technology Solutions, a subsidiary of ASRC Federal, is seeking a Legal Analyst to support our ongoing contract program with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), Asset Forfeiture Program.</p> <p>Basic Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree required </li><li>2 years of legal, financial, or business area experience preferred </li><li>Demonstrated skills, based on education or work experience, in the collection of legal data, analysis and evaluation of information </li><li>Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and attention to detail </li><li>Strong collaboration, teamwork, and interpersonal skills </li><li>Paralegal certification a plus </li><li>Must be a U.S. citizen and be able to pass a government sponsored background investigation </li></ul> <p>Alternate hiring locations:</p> <ul> <li>300 N Los Angeles St, Los Angeles, CA 90012 </li></ul> <p>Key Role:</p> <ul> <li>Identify all possible sources of information; correlate information and data to substantiate or refute information presently on hand. </li><li>Analyze collected information to produce as more complete picture of activities and support investigations currently underway. </li><li>Collect and analyze legal data and summarize findings into memoranda and reports </li><li>Ensure data entered into database is compliant with court orders </li><li>Perform legal research, summarize disposition transcripts, and compile indices and trial material </li><li>Receive and distribute documents related to cases pertaining to seizures and forfeitures </li><li>Assist with the drafting of letters, forms and affidavits </li><li>Discretely handle confidential material and sensitive information </li><li>Collaborate with team members to meet client requirements </li></ul>
