<p>Position Overview</p> <p>Power your future with Qualus as a Transmission Line Engineer designing transmission structures and power lines for high voltage applications.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Design transmission structures and power lines for high voltage applications. </li><li>Prepare and review technical specifications and drawings. </li><li>Conduct engineering analysis and simulations for transmission line design. </li><li>Mentor and train lower-level engineers and team members. </li><li>Perform independent reviews of work performed by others, including calculations, drawings, specification, and transmission line PLS-CADD models. </li><li>Provide support to the project team during construction and installation. </li><li>Collaborate with other engineers and project managers to ensure project goals are met. </li><li>Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations. </li><li>Perform field work as required to support design, construction, and commissioning activities. </li><li>Interface with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success. </li><li>Participate in project meetings and provide technical support as required. </li></ul> <p>#LI-JB1</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical). </li><li>Minimum of 5+ years of experience in transmission line design for high voltage applications. (Hiring for all position levels, depending upon experience) </li><li>PE License required. </li><li>Strong knowledge of structural design and analysis principles and tools. </li><li>Strong working knowledge of foundation design and analysis. </li><li>Proficiency in engineering software such as PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, FAD Tools, and AutoCAD. </li><li>Familiarity with industry codes and standards such as NESC, ASCE, ACI, RUS, IEC, and IEEE. </li><li>Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team environment. </li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. </li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. </li><li>Strong desire to mentor, train and lead next generation of engineers. </li></ul> <p>The expected compensation range for this position is based upon several factors, including but not limited to education, qualifications, prior relevant work experience and work location.</p> <p>Compensation: $130,000.00 - $150,000.00</p> <p>Benefits & Compensation</p> <p>Qualus benefits offered include Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short and Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays, for those who qualify.</p> <p>The expected compensation range for this position is based upon several factors, including but not limited to education, qualifications, prior relevant work experience and work location.</p> <p>Company Overview</p> <p>Qualus is a leading pure-play power services firm and innovator at the forefront of the energy transition and transformation, with differentiated capabilities across grid modernization, resiliency, security, and sustainability.
