Take the next step in your career by applying today and becoming an integral part of our dedicated team!</p> <p>Under general supervision, you </p> <ul> <li>Classify and assign Chatham County Detention Center detainees according to established policies and procedures for housing, work detail, and other activities. </li><li>Maintain classification records and ensure that records are current, complete, and secure.  </li><li>Respond to complaints and new classification information, review new information, and revise classification in a timely manner.  </li><li>Use communication skills involving both technical and non-technical language.  </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned. </li><li>High School Diploma or GED, and  </li><li>Two (2) years of college-level course work in Behavioral Science or a related field, and  </li><li>Two (2) years of work experience in the corrections field; or  </li><li>Any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.  </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Behavioral Science or a related field. </li></ul>
