<p>Reports To: Principal</p> <p>Duty Days: 187 Days</p> <p>Wage/Hour Status: Non-Exempt</p> <p>Pay Grade: IS02</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>College hours, high school diploma or GED for Non-Title I campus</p> <p>Knowledge of filing system</p> <p>Good physical condition</p> <p>Enthusiasm for sports</p> <p>General office skills</p> <p>General office machines including computer</p> <p>Ability to work with children</p> <p>Paraprofessional aide certificate required once employed</p> <p>College hours, 48 minimum or score of 464 on the ParaPro test</p> <p>Primary Purpose:</p> <p>Assist the physical education teacher with instructional needs as appropriate for the grade and subject area.</p> <p>Major Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Assist in instructional activities: exercising, demonstrating games, and monitoring children. </li><li>Organize equipment needed for daily activities. </li><li>Perform secretarial duties for the P.E. department: typing, filing, grading, and recording tests. </li><li>Keep bulletin boards up-dated. </li><li>Monitor locker room before and after class. </li><li>Assist with up-dating gradebooks, recording roll, recording scores, and discipline marks. </li><li>Bus duty before and/or after school. </li><li>Supervise students when assigned. </li></ul> <p>Working Conditions:</p> <p>Maintain emotional control under stress.
