<p>Description</p> <p>Essential Functions: Assists in Pro Shop sales and operations.</p> <p>Additional Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Advises members and guests about attire, golf clubs, and supplies, etc. </li><li>Arranges and displays Pro Shop inventory. </li><li>Records all sales transactions. </li><li>Collects and records greens fees and cart rental fees. </li><li>Sell merchandise, special order merchandise, help with inventory, check-in golfers prior to their round of golf, and open and close Pro Shop. </li><li>Must know all aspects of the point of sale computer system to include start-up, close, entering golf-related fees, merchandise sales with gift certificates or sweeps. </li><li>Have knowledge of all aspects of the handicap computer to include, including setting up tournaments Golf Genius, end-of-month updates, and all pertinent reports. </li><li>Assist with monthly inventory. </li><li>Assist in maintaining and regulating policies, rules, and regulations of the golf department operations. </li><li>Must comply with all rules and regulations as stated in the Employee Handbook. </li><li>Assists with other duties as assigned by management. </li><li>Must be able to stand, climb, stoop, bend, reach overhead and push and pull on a continuous basis. </li><li>Must be willing to adhere to policies/procedures assigned by the safety committee. </li><li>Must be willing to work with co-workers as a team. </li><li>The schedule varies based on the needs of the Club. Weekends and holidays are required. </li></ul> <p>Must possess excellent people-oriented. Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills. Must present a neat appearance, possess a pleasant personality, and wear the appropriate apparel for the position. Must possess good judgment and decision-making abilities.</p> <p>Schedule: Days and Hours vary based on the needs of the property</p> <p>What We Offer:</p> <p>As a part-time non-exempt associate, you will be eligible for full supplemental benefits to include dental and vision.
