<p>Location: Hybrid in Los Angeles, CA</p> <p>Employment Type: Contract</p> <p>Eligibility: W2 Only - No 3rd Parties</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <p>As a seasoned Sr. "Privacy" Project Manager with experience delivering complex Data & Advanced Analytics projects, the individual will:</p> <ul> <li>Plan, execute, and oversee technology and data platform initiatives by coordinating scope, schedule, resources, budget, and deliverables. </li><li>Ensure projects align with approved objectives, governance standards, and quality expectations while supporting data, analytics, and digital transformation initiatives. </li></ul> <p>What Will the Person Be Working On</p> <p>Project Planning & Execution</p> <ul> <li>Develop and manage project plans, schedules, work breakdown structures, and milestone timelines. </li><li>Coordinate cross-functional activities to ensure timely and efficient delivery throughout the project lifecycle. </li></ul> <p>Data Privacy Project Leadership</p> <ul> <li>Lead data privacy compliance and regulatory alignment initiatives. </li><li>Drive privacy assessments, security checkpoints, and compliance reviews. </li><li>Collaborate with Legal, InfoSec, and Data Governance teams on handling PII and sensitive data. </li><li>Oversee implementation of privacy controls such as masking, access restrictions, and retention workflows. </li><li>Ensure privacy requirements are embedded in Agile artifacts. </li></ul> <p>Agile & Scrum Leadership</p> <ul> <li>Facilitate Agile ceremonies and ensure alignment with sprint goals. </li><li>Partner with Product Owners to maintain balanced backlogs. </li><li>Remove blockers and coach teams to improve Agile maturity. </li></ul> <p>Stakeholder Coordination & Communication</p> <ul> <li>Act as the central coordination point across stakeholders, product, and technical teams. </li><li>Lead meetings, status updates, and decision-making sessions. </li></ul> <p>Scope, Schedule & Risk Management</p> <ul> <li>Track progress against plans and manage risks, issues, and change requests. </li><li>Ensure adherence to governance and escalation protocols. </li></ul> <p>Financial & Resource Management</p> <ul> <li>Manage budgets, forecasts, and resource allocations. </li><li>Support financial reporting and cost tracking. </li></ul> <p>Delivery Governance & Quality Assurance</p> <ul> <li>Ensure deliverables meet acceptance criteria and quality standards. </li><li>Maintain accurate project documentation for audit and compliance. </li></ul> <p>Operational Transition & Continuous Improvement</p> <ul> <li>Support transition to operations through documentation and knowledge transfer. </li><li>Capture lessons learned and improve delivery practices. </li></ul> <p>Data & AI / Advanced Analytics Project Management</p> <ul> <li>Lead delivery of data pipelines, analytics solutions, and modernization initiatives. </li><li>Coordinate across data engineering, BI, governance, QA, and business teams. </li><li>Ensure strong data governance including lineage, metadata, and quality controls. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Minimum Educational Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). </li></ul> <p>Minimum Experience</p> <ul> <li>7+ years of experience managing technology, data, or digital platform projects. </li><li>Proven experience leading cross-functional teams using structured methodologies. </li></ul> <p>Other Job-Specific Skills</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid methodologies. </li><li>Experience with tools such as MS Project, Jira, Clarity, or similar. </li><li>Strong organizational, risk management, and problem-solving skills. </li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills. </li></ul> <p>Key Performance Indicators</p> <ul> <li>On-time delivery of milestones and deliverables. </li><li>Adherence to scope, schedule, budget, and compliance. </li><li>Accuracy and timeliness of status reporting. </li><li>Stakeholder satisfaction. </li><li>Effectiveness of risk and issue management. </li></ul> <p>#LI-MM1</p>
