<p>JOB OVERVIEW:</p> <p>The purpose of this job is to support the key relationships and financial performance of our logistics partners, lead the Supply Management team for Darden's dedicated Smallwares Network, and support the day-to-day operations of the Product Supply Team. In addition, this role is responsible for maintaining and developing the financial plans for Darden's logistics network under the direction of the Supply Management Manager, as well as serving as the project manager for key logistics infrastructure initiatives.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</p> <p>Logistics Relationships and Financial Performance</p> <ul> <li>Facilitate and manage the relationship between Darden and all logistics providers, including Last Mile Distributors, Inbound transportation providers, 4PL logistics partners, mail providers, and primary warehousing partners in the United States and Canada </li><li>Create, and maintain, business plans, including distributor case fee pro formas and managed inbound freight P&Ls </li><li>Conduct monthly reviews of all partner pro formas and provide recommendations to improve operator performance where needed </li><li>Maintain accurate accounting of all business and financial operations within our logistics providers </li><li>Scorecard monthly financial performance of logistics providers and provide consolidated views to internal stakeholders </li><li>Execute all cost-savings initiatives within the logistics department </li><li>Facilitate the claims process between all Darden vendors, including Last Mile and Hub partners </li><li>Serve as primary contact for all QA/TQ issues that may impact restaurant supply and distribution partners </li><li>Support issue resolution between Supply Management and Darden's logistics partners when challenges arise </li></ul> <p>Smallwares Supply Management</p> <ul> <li>Lead the Supply Management Analyst supporting the Darden smallwares network </li><li>Provide resolution support for issues that arise in the smallwares network, coordinating with both purchasing and warehouse operations </li><li>Maintain accountability for ensuring all products are in stock for fulfillment by Darden's warehouse in Orlando </li><li>Implement process improvements, including automation, to drive higher productivity and inventory planning accuracy </li></ul> <p>Infrastructure & Project Management</p> <ul> <li>Execute continuous improvement initiatives to ensure long-term fiscal performance and business continuity </li><li>Support the Supply Management team on the development and execution of infrastructure plans </li><li>Lead process improvement between the logistics teams and internal stakeholders, including Purchasing and Finance </li><li>Serve as the project manager for all projects within the logistics network, including new partner onboarding and infrastructure growth </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications, Skills and Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Strong relationship, communication, and negotiation skills </li><li>Ability to partner cross-functionally, including with teams outside of the organization </li><li>Problem solving in the areas of inventory management, logistics, vendor relationships, finance, and contract administration </li><li>Advanced user of excel and PowerPoint </li><li>Extremely detail oriented </li><li>Excellent presentation skills </li><li>Ability to Travel as necessary </li></ul> <p>Education and/or Experience:</p> <ul> <li>3-5 years of experience in Foodservice Supply Management, Distribution Operations, and/or Project Management </li><li>Experience leading projects, both with internal and external stakeholders </li><li>Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics or equivalent experience in foodservice distribution </li></ul> <p>#LI-TH1</p> <p>#LI-Onsite</p>
