To learn more about our purpose and values, visit our career site at https://careers.reece.com/us/</p> <p>Purpose</p> <p>This position will focus primarily on leading the team that is responsible for creating bid proposal documents and assisting with other sales development processes focused on metering products and services.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Lead Proposal Team throughout the proposal process and other sales development process performed by the team</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure proposal team is trained or has access to training that is necessary for job growth</p> </li><li> <p>Create Standard Operating Procedures for tasks done by the team</p> </li><li> <p>Work with Reece/Fortiline Finance Team on tracking of projects that require bonding</p> </li><li> <p>Work with Bonding Agent to secure bonding for projects</p> </li><li> <p>Work with Insurance Agent to confirm insurance requirements put forth in RFP</p> </li><li> <p>Review Proposals put together by the team for errors/omissions</p> </li><li> <p>Review Proposals put together by team for compliance to RFP's specifications</p> </li><li> <p>Track bid results (win/loss) and obtain bid tabs</p> </li><li> <p>Research government bidding platforms for upcoming metering projects and send out relevant bids to sales team</p> </li><li> <p>Either through fiscal year budgets, CIP, etc. or through recently released bids</p> </li><li> <p>Lead, with Reece Marketing, marketing throughout territories with meter manufacturers</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with trade show/conference registration where metering will be primary focus</p> </li></ul> <p>Key Competencies and Skills Required</p> <ul> <li>Physical Capacities - Lift up to 25 pounds on occasion, sitting and standing for extended periods. </li><li>Mental Capacities - Active Listening, Analytical Thinking, Attention to Detail, Concern for Others, Cooperation and Coordination, Critical Thinking, Deductive Reasoning, Dependability, Independence, Inductive Reasoning, Initiative, Innovation, Service Orientation, Support, Time Management. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Strong written communication skills - writing, reading and written comprehension, and written expression </li><li>Strong oral communication skills - speaking, speech clarity, speech recognition </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Associate or Bachelor's Degree </li><li>Knowledge and skills commonly found in someone with 8+ years of experience </li></ul> <p>Strong understanding of smarter water solutions (AMR/AMI) and utility/public-sector proposal responses</p> <p>Our commitment to excellent customer service is just part of our story.
