<p>Controls Engineer II. Ossid, LLC. Battleboro, NC. The primary focus of this position is to design, program, troubleshoot, implement and test the electrical control systems for automated packaging machinery. This includes but is not limited to: PLC Programming, HMI Programming, Motor control with VFDs, Electrical Schematic Design (AutoCAD Electrical), Panel Layout and Design, Creation of Bills of Material, Fieldbus Communications, Creation of documentation and training materials. The position will also require domestic travel up to 25% to customer locations to oversee installation, provide service, and commissioning of the machines as well as provide in-house and on-site technical training for other employees and customers.</p> <p>Need Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Automation (foreign equivalent accepted). Need 5 years of experience in: Automation controls and programming; OEM automation design, including proficiency in SolidWorks or AutoCAD electrical design software; PLC programming, preferably Rockwell, Siemens, or Omron; Machine control & data acquisition systems including I/O hardware, signal conditioning, field devices & sensors.
