Training & Education Specialist, you will become part of the dynamic Advanced Field Training Team responsible for training and educating our Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) field force. Use your subject matter expertise, experience, and passion to train field representatives who bring life-changing devices and therapies to thousands of patients.</p> <p>This role is open to remote within the US.</p> <p>A Day in the Life:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Lead the development and continuous improvement of training programs and events for field employees on Medtronic CRM products, therapies, and procedures, primarily with the Defibrillation Solutions (DS) business</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with Sales Leaders, Medical Education, and Marketing to create interactive and purposeful training programs, tailored for both in-person and virtual settings</p> </li><li> <p>Deliver classroom, lab, or web-based technical product and procedure instruction</p> </li><li> <p>Develop & maintain digital education content that aligns with field priorities</p> </li><li> <p>Identify gaps in content and Medtronic technology & therapy and develop and implement programs to address these gaps</p> </li><li> <p>Partner with field teams to support local education and develop programs and content to meet those needs</p> </li><li> <p>Engage in continuous learning to be a reliable, trusted resource of accurate, up-to-date knowledge, focusing on adult education curriculum design and delivery methods</p> </li><li> <p>Navigate the content/document review and approval process, ensuring compliance with industry regulations</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain project management tracking for program activities relevant to compliance, logistics, budget, and metrics</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrate willingness to build and maintain positive relationships with a diverse set of peers and colleagues across organizational levels to include Sales and global business partners</p> </li><li> <p>Work with global regions to identify needs and help enable localization of education</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to travel up to approximately 50%</p> </li></ul> <p>Must Have:</p> <ul> <li> <p>High School Diploma or equivalent with 11+ years of relevant experience in a clinical lab setting, clinical training, field sales/support in medical device, healthcare industry or equivalent experience (OR Associate's Degree with 9+ years experience OR Baccalaureate Degree with 7+ years experience).</p> </li><li> <p>Experience designing training curriculum to achieve organizational goals and identifying training gaps</p> </li><li> <p>Experience working with technical content and synthesizing key learnings into training content</p> </li></ul> <p>Nice To Have:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Experience designing online learning in a variety of modalities including classroom, synchronous and asynchronous, microlearning, and digital job aids</p> </li><li> <p>Experience working on multiple, simultaneous projects that require both strategic thinking and high-speed tactical execution</p> </li><li> <p>International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners Certification (IBHRE AP or EP)</p> </li><li> <p>Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods, tools, and learning principles</p> </li></ul> <p>Physical Job Requirements</p> <p>The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position.</p> <p>The physical demands described within the Responsibilities section of this job description are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. PR) locations (USD):$109,600.00 - $164,400.00</p> <p>This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).</p> <p>The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).</p> <p>The following benefits and additional compensation are available to those regular employees who work 20+ hours per week: Health, Dental and vision insurance, Health Savings Account, Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Life insurance, Long-term disability leave, Dependent daycare spending account, Tuition assistance/reimbursement, and Simple Steps (global well-being program).</p> <p>The following benefits and additional compensation are available to all regular employees: Incentive plans, 401(k) plan plus employer contribution and match, Short-term disability, Paid time off, Paid holidays, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, Employee Assistance Program, Non-qualified Retirement Plan Supplement (subject to IRS earning minimums), and Capital Accumulation Plan (available to Vice Presidents and above, or subject to IRS earning minimums).</p> <p>Regular employees are those who are not temporary, such as interns.
