(NASDAQ: ULCC).</p> <ul> <li>Frontier is the most fuel-efficient of all major U.S. carriers when measured by ASMs per fuel gallon consumed. </li></ul> <p>What Will You Be Doing?</p> <p>The Strategic Sourcing department is a high-impact, highly visible function within the company that partners closely with senior management and executive leadership. As the Senior Manager, Strategic Sourcing - Indirect Spend, you will lead the team responsible for sourcing critical indirect spend categories, with particular emphasis on Information Technology, Finance, Marketing, Legal, and Commercial services. You will develop and execute strategic sourcing initiatives that align with business priorities, ensure best-in-class sourcing processes, and foster strong vendor relationships.</p> <p>You will play a key leadership role in shaping departmental strategy, driving value through competitive sourcing, and developing talent to sustain long-term team excellence. This role is accountable for the successful execution of high-complexity RFXs, negotiations, and contracting initiatives, while ensuring the team delivers measurable business outcomes.</p> <p>Essential Functions</p> <p>The Senior Manager will be responsible for four key areas:</p> <p>Strategic Thinking (10%)</p> <ul> <li>Establish and drive long-term strategic goals for the department that align with company objectives. </li><li>Proactively analyze category spend and vendor base activity, identifying opportunities for spend optimization and operational efficiency. </li><li>Champion the integration of industry best practices into sourcing methodologies, decision-making, and performance tracking. </li></ul> <p>Internal Stakeholder Management and Process Improvement (20%)</p> <ul> <li>Build strong, trust-based relationships with internal stakeholders across support functions to ensure collaborative sourcing approaches. </li><li>Ensure alignment of sourcing activities with internal business goals by conducting thorough needs assessments and aligning sourcing strategies accordingly. </li><li>Identify and resolve process inefficiencies, instilling structure and discipline in cross-functional sourcing operations. </li></ul> <p>RFX Execution, Contracting and Vendor Management (40%)</p> <ul> <li>Oversee and guide end-to-end RFX processes, including stakeholder engagement, drafting of comprehensive bid documents, timeline/logistics planning, response evaluation, and vendor selection. </li><li>Lead negotiations and formalize agreements in close coordination with Frontier's Legal counsel, capturing favorable terms in well-structured contracts. </li><li>Support internal stakeholders with monitoring vendor performance, ensure compliance with contract terms, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement in vendor relationships. </li></ul> <p>Team Leadership & Development (30%)</p> <ul> <li>Hire, develop, and retain high-performing sourcing professionals, including Managers and Analysts. </li><li>Define and communicate clear performance goals and individualized growth plans to support long-term career development. </li><li>Coach team members in sourcing best practices, negotiation tactics, and effective stakeholder engagement to ensure team-wide excellence in execution. </li><li>Foster a collaborative, feedback-driven team culture that promotes accountability, continuous learning, and innovation. </li></ul> <p>Other Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Deliver clear and effective reporting and presentations to senior management and the Board. </li><li>Represent the Sourcing function at industry events and conferences. </li><li>Support corporate finance and budget planning through cost modeling and sourcing forecasts. </li><li>Contribute to ad hoc projects and strategic initiatives as needed. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Finance, or a related field (MBA or other relevant graduate degree preferred). </li><li>Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in sourcing, procurement, finance, or related areas, with strong exposure to indirect categories, especially Information Technology. </li><li>At least 5 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity leading cross-functional teams in a corporate environment. </li><li>Airline and/or aerospace industry experience advantageous. </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Deep understanding of strategic sourcing, total cost of ownership (TCO), and supplier relationship management across indirect spend categories. </li><li>Expertise in end-to-end RFP management, complex contract negotiations, and vendor evaluation methodologies. </li><li>Strong financial acumen; able to assess business cases and build cost models to support sourcing decisions. </li><li>Executive-level communication skills; able to present to senior leadership and boards with confidence and clarity. </li><li>Demonstrated ability to act as a trusted advisor through sound judgment, analytical thinking, and influence. </li><li>Skilled in organizational development, performance management, and change leadership. </li><li>Highly organized, self-motivated, and committed to continuous improvement and operational excellence. </li><li>Comfortable managing multiple complex initiatives in a fast-paced, matrixed environment. </li></ul> <p>Equipment Operated</p> <p>Standard office equipment, including PC, copier, fax machine, printer</p> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>Typical office environment, adequately heated and cooled</p> <p>Physical Effort</p> <p>Generally, not required.</p> <p>Supervision Received</p> <p>Considerable Latitude: The incumbent establishes methods and procedures for attaining specific goals and objectives, and receives guidance in terms of broad goals. Only the final results of work are typically reviewed.</p> <p>Positions Supervised</p> <p>Manager, Strategic Sourcing</p> <p>Analyst, Strategic Sourcing</p> <p>Salary Range: $110,114 - $146,157</p> <ul> <li>Relocation offer assistance available </li><li>In addition to your base salary, you will be eligible to earn an annual short term incentive, at the discretion of Frontier's Board of Directors or one of such board's committees, based on the attainment of performance metrics for Frontier and/or individual performance objectives, in each case established and evaluated by such board or one of its committees.
