<p>Senior System Administrator</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>The Senior System Administrator is responsible for employee management activities at various locations and divisions for a specific client. This role's primary responsibilities include efficient IT service management and process improvement to IS systems used in client engagement. The ability to communicate clearly, deliver a high level of customer service, execute on project deliverables, and think with the future in mind are key attributes for this role.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Provide direct end-user assistance to solve customers' administrative and technical problems on client-level workstations, end-user devices, peripherals, and applications. </li><li>Troubleshoot and demonstrate problem-solving skills in identification of the root causes of business performance and execution issues by using process and data analysis. Platforms include: Windows, Entra/Azure/Intune, and Engineering or CAD Software. </li><li>Participate in procurement of hardware and software assets for customer and infrastructure projects. </li><li>Oversee ITSM application and ensure support provided is captured within the system in a timely and professional manner; review ticket completion/escalations; provide data and reporting to IT management staff. </li><li>Lead or participate in multiple projects in accordance with project goals. </li><li>Execute supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems. </li><li>Escalate issues in a timely and appropriate manner to Manager for support, approval, and/or resolution. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>2+ years of demonstrated leadership skills managing virtual teams of diverse skill sets. </li><li>5+ years of IT related experience. </li><li>Ability to provide coaching and mentoring to operational team members in the areas of technical skills & competencies. </li><li>Proven ability to be self-motivated and take initiative under the pressure of demanding timelines. </li><li>Demonstrated skill in critical thinking and problem solving. </li><li>Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills at all levels. </li><li>Knowledge of software including Windows, Office, Entra/Azure/Intune, and Engineering or CAD programs. </li><li>Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field. </li><li>ITIL certification preferred. </li><li>Refcr2023. </li></ul> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $85000.00/yr.</p> <p>Medical and dental insurance plans</p> <p>Health Savings Account</p> <p>Life and disability insurance</p> <p>401(k) match, profit sharing and 529 plan</p> <p>Paid holidays and 20 days of paid time off each year for new employees</p> <p>Consumer discounts</p> <p>Flexible spending accounts and employee assistance programs</p> <p>Workplace Type</p> <p>This is a hybrid position in New Albany,OH.</p> <p>Application Deadline</p> <p>This position is anticipated to close on Mar 25, 2025.</p> <p>About Actalent</p> <p>Actalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
