<p>For over 40 years, JANUS et Cie has been an industry leader in design-driven furnishings for outdoors. The luxury lifestyle brand is now seeking a Vice President of Operations. This role will be based out of our production facility in Santa Fe Springs, CA.</p> <p>The Vice President of Operations is a leadership role responsible for overseeing and optimizing the company's cost-center operational areas, including warehousing, logistics, transportation, quality, and client services. This position will have 4 direct reports, lead a team of more than 150 employees across multiple departments, driving excellence through lean management principles, continuous improvement, and operational innovation. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in warehousing logistics, transportation, facility build-out, and cross-functional team leadership to elevate customer experience and internal efficiency.</p> <p>Salary Range: $210k-230k</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Oversee all warehousing, logistics, transportation, quality, and client services. </li><li>Lead and coach a team of four direct reports and with team totals of more than 150 people. </li><li>Develop and implement strategies that improve operational effectiveness, customer satisfaction, and cost control. </li><li>Champion lean management practices and instill a culture of continuous improvement. </li><li>Spearhead the development of new warehousing facilities and optimize existing infrastructure. </li><li>Collaborate cross-functionally with supply chain, sales, and finance leaders to ensure alignment with company goals. </li><li>Monitor KPIs and operational metrics; report on performance and initiate corrective actions as needed. </li><li>Ensure full compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards. </li></ul> <p>SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Directly manages operational departments </li><li>Provides coaching, direction, develops and empowers direct reports </li><li>Ensures workflow and processes are to maximum efficiencies for business necessity </li><li>Thoroughness </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>15+ years of progressive operations leadership experience </li><li>Extensive background in lean operations and process optimization </li><li>Proven success in building and managing high-performing warehouse and logistics teams </li><li>Experience with facility build-out and scaling physical infrastructure </li><li>Bachelor's degree required </li><li>Strong knowledge of ERP systems, logistics software, and operational KPIs </li><li>Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and project management skills </li></ul> <p>REFLECTS OUR BRAND VALUES:</p> <ul> <li>We listen to our Customers </li><li>We rely on our Members </li><li>We honor Integrity </li><li>We embrace Continuous Learning </li><li>We lead with Design </li><li>We create Value </li><li>We make the World Better </li></ul>
