<p>Located at Wayne Hospital (Greenville, OH)</p> <p>Part-Time Day Shift - working 40 hours a pay period (every 2 weeks)</p> <p>Position Summary:</p> <p>The job requires candidates to possess a strong educational background in medical laboratory science, certification, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a demanding laboratory environment while prioritizing safety and accuracy.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Perform laboratory tests accurately and efficiently following established protocols. </li><li>Conduct daily maintenance and quality control on equipment and reagents. </li><li>Identify and troubleshoot problems with instruments, reagents, test results or supplies. </li><li>Record and report test results accurately and promptly, using computer systems as necessary. </li><li>Address client inquiries and issues in a professional manner, adhering to departmental policies. </li><li>Assist in training new employees and students. </li><li>Adhere to corporate integrity and safety policies. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Associates or Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science (MLT/MLS/CLS) or equivalent. </li><li>ASCP or AMT certification or eligibility is required. </li></ul> <p>Safety & Physical Demands:</p> <ul> <li>Visual acuity and manual dexterity for computer work and data analysis. </li><li>Ability to lift weights up to 20 pounds and carry up to 50 pounds. </li><li>Manual dexterity for specimen manipulation and pipetting. </li><li>Ability to stand for extended periods and walk short distances. </li><li>Exposure to biohazard substances and hazardous chemicals. </li><li>Adherence to safety, ergonomic and health policies. </li><li>Compliance with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements. </li><li>Completion of required safety training and health evaluations. </li></ul> <p>#IND123</p>
