<p>POSITION SUMMARY:</p> <p>The Electrical Supervisor oversees all employees working in the Electrical Department. The Electrical Supervisor will collaborate with Engineering to correct BOM or Design issues encountered by the electrical assembly team and will ensure all outgoing Johnson and MarCraft units have executed proper operation, combustion and fan balancing during the test procedure. The Electrical Supervisor will work with direct reports to improve and enhance manufacturing performance of Safety, Quality, Delivery and Productivity.</p> <p>FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION</p> <ul> <li>Directs, coordinates, supervises, trains, assigns, and evaluates assigned employees in hands-on control panel wiring, running conduit and field wiring of all devices. </li><li>Electrical assembly of control panels and related equipment including cables, harnesses, and soldering. </li><li>Reviews submittals and BOMs, while overseeing electrical assembly. </li><li>Works with Service Technicians to further develop technical abilities. </li><li>Assigns tasks to personnel for maximum efficiency and utilization. </li><li>Reads and interprets work orders, line diagrams and schematics. </li><li>Coordinates with manufacturing management, engineering, and other departments. </li><li>Communicates daily with subordinates and carries out disciplinary action where necessary. </li><li>Assists in testing and troubleshooting of JAR / MAR systems, while completing testing paperwork. </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION:</p> <ul> <li>Electrical Degree from Technical College or University or </li><li>Experience as an Advanced Electrical Journeyman for 5+ years </li></ul> <p>SKILLS & ABILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Able to read and interpret schematics and wire lists. </li><li>Able to lead and motivate direct reports. </li><li>Must have electrical panel build experience with the ability to troubleshoot and trace wiring issues. </li></ul>
