For more info click https://nhsc.hrsa.gov/</p> <p>Harbor Health offers an excellent, comprehensive benefits package including Health, Dental, Vision, Life, & Disability insurance, 403b Savings Plan, Generous Paid Time Off (20 days to start!) plus 11 additional Holidays and much more!</p> <p>Role:</p> <p>The Behavioral Health Provider for Primary Care provides direct psychotherapy services to Behavioral Health patients; assists Behavioral Health Director in clinical functions of the department; develops and implements policies and procedures; collects data and develops reports and other responsibilities as assigned.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Performs intakes, evaluations and provides therapy to Behavioral Health patients assigned by the Director. </li><li>Actively participates in extended primary care teams, participates on treatment teams focusing on behavioral issues with patients using brief therapies, crisis management and provides consultations to providers and brief therapies to patients while working in primary care. </li><li>Facilitates trainings, case conferences; conducts Utilization Review. </li><li>Obtains insurance authorization for all patients, tracks visits and obtains re-authorization if necessary. </li><li>Completes comprehensive assessments , quarterly treatment updates and discharge summaries for all patients. </li><li>Coordinates behavioral health treatment with psychiatry and primary care providers including integrated Behavioral Health services as directed. </li><li>Performs collateral case work for patients when necessary e.g. completing disability forms, consulting with other providers, teachers and institutions </li><li>Provides clinical supervision for behavioral health staff and/or interns as directed by Behavioral Health Director, supervises interns and completes evaluations in timely manner as required by the school program. </li><li>Completes appropriate documentation and submits charges in a timely manner as required </li><li>Attends case conferences and in-services when required. </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Licensed Independent Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Worker (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) required </li><li>Master's degree in relevant discipline </li><li>BLS (Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers) Certification required </li><li>2 years of experience providing therapy in individual, family and/or group modalities </li><li>Current Massachusetts LADC1 or CADC preferred </li><li>One year of clinical of experience in substance abuse treatment preferred </li><li>Duties may requires travel between Health Centers and to other consortium clinics </li></ul> <p>All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability or veteran status.</p> <ul> <li>First half of bonus paid at hire and remainder at 90 days in good standing, former employees of Harbor Health not eligible. </li></ul> <p>The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement.
