<p>Manufacturing Driver - 3rd Shift ($24.81/hr. + $1.00 shift differential)</p> <p>Who we are looking for:</p> <p>We are currently searching for an experienced Manufacturing Driver to be based out of Harvey, IL approximately 30 miles south of Downtown Chicago. The job will be 3rd shift jobs (11pm-7am ), M-F, occasional Saturdays. Reporting to the Manufacturing Supervisor, this person will be responsible for moving and storing large bundles of steel tube in the manufacturing department.</p> <p>The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-3 years' experience driving a Forklift and Combi-lift experience moving large loads. Experience in lean manufacturing or business system-based company is a plus.</p> <p>What you'll do:</p> <ul> <li>Be proficient with sit down forklift and combi-lift (side loader). </li><li>Transport, store and stack all materials in accordance with proper inventory control procedures. </li><li>Operate a handheld scanner and utilize a variety of printed work instructions as part of daily work assignment. </li></ul> <p>What you'll bring:</p> <ul> <li>Experience in industrial manufacturing. </li><li>Forklift and Combi-lift (side loader) experience. </li><li>Ability to pass the post offer employment process with drug screen. </li></ul> <p>Within 3 months, you'll:</p> <ul> <li>Show progress and/or complete job specific training. </li><li>Be well-versed in Atkore's Business System and the importance of your role to daily operations. </li><li>Gain a basic understanding of required duties and job expectations. </li></ul> <p>Who we are:</p> <p>Atkore is a four-time Great Place to Work certified company and a two-time Top Workplaces USA award winner!
