Starting Pay: $11.79</p> <p>POSITION SUMMARY</p> <p>The purpose of this position is to interact with our guests and ensure they have a great experience when dining in the restaurant. Restaurant Servers are responsible for positive guest interactions while serving guests in a friendly and efficient manner.</p> <p>RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Staying updated on current menu choices, specialties and menu deviations, knowing if the kitchen staff is running out of any items. </li><li>Direct customers to their tables, presenting menus, suggesting dishes, assisting in drink selection, informing customers about food preparation details, communicating specific customer needs to the cooks. </li><li>Maintaining proper dining experience, delivering items, fulfilling customer needs, offering desserts and drinks, removing courses, replenishing utensils, refilling glasses. </li><li>Prepare mixed drinks for service to your customers table. </li><li>Obtaining revenues, issuing receipts, accepting payments, returning the change. </li><li>Greet all guests and owners warmly with an appropriate greeting. </li><li>Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently. </li><li>Understands and can communicate products and services available at O&H. </li><li>Knowledge of all bar equipment, Easy Bar System, and use of POS system. </li><li>Able to handle situations that may arise due to intoxication. </li><li>Ability to communicate with all departments and fellow employees. </li><li>Knowledge of sanitation and health department regulations for safe handling of alcohol </li><li>Through achievement of performance goals and both verbal and documented expectations. </li><li>Thoroughly following departmental and company procedures </li><li>Balanced paperwork at the end of the shift </li><li>Complete side work and other duties as assigned. </li><li>MISCELLANEOUS </li><li>Understand and adhere to all Colorado Division of Gaming regulations and any other applicable federal, state, and/or local regulations. </li><li>Maintaining interpersonal working relationships among all personnel. </li><li>Oral and written communication skills. </li><li>Public relations and customer service skills. </li><li>Able to accurately perform all assigned job duties in a high-volume, fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines. </li><li>Accuracy in completing assigned duties, paperwork, and reports. </li><li></li><li>QUALIFICATIONS </li><li>High School Diploma or GED. </li><li>Must be able to understand direction and communicate in English. </li><li>One year previous food & beverage experience in a high volume restaurant </li><li></li><li>MENTAL & PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT </li><li>Must possess strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. </li><li>Must demonstrate a proven track record of providing outstanding guest service. </li><li>Must be able to work both independently and as a member of a team. </li><li>Must be able to work a flexible schedule as required by business operations, including late nights, weekends, and holidays. </li><li>Read, write, and understand simple instructions. </li><li>Communicate appropriately/effectively with all casino guests, casino departments, and fellow team members. </li></ul>
