<p>Position Summary: Support the service group and sales staff. Perform startup, service, maintenance, and troubleshooting of HVAC products, including but not limited to Variable Refrigerant Flow systems, VFD, AHUs, RTUs, Chillers's ETC.</p> <p>Position Responsibilities May include;</p> <ul> <li>Assist with Startup, commissioning, and servicing for Daikin VRV systems. </li><li>Assist with HVAC equipment replacement, installation, and retrofit. </li><li>Assist with Startup, commissioning of HVAC products, including but not limited to: Daikin Applied, Daikin North America, Huntair, Temtrol, Venmar, and BAC cooling towers. </li><li>Work closely with service coordinators for daily direction and scheduling. </li><li>Safety is a priority - Must work in a safe manner. Ensure that personal safety is your responsibility. </li><li>Assist with required start-up, warranty paperwork, and service reports in a timely manner. </li><li>Ability to operate a company vehicle in a safe manner. (Clean driving record) </li><li>Work schedule includes Monday through Friday and the flexibility to work overtime & weekends as needed. </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Nature & Scope:</p> <ul> <li>Self-motivated and creative problem-solving skills, </li><li>The ability to work efficiently without direct supervision. </li><li>Team Player </li></ul> <p>Knowledge & Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. </li><li>Computer skills are strongly recommended for navigating factory diagnostic and commissioning programs/tools. </li></ul> <p>Competency • UA Local 32 Assessment test may be necessary, DOE</p> <p>Experience: 1+ years of HVAC experience</p> <p>Education/Certification:</p> <ul> <li>Certification from an accredited HVAC Trade School or Apprentice card from an approved apprenticeship </li><li>Washington State L&I O6A Journeyman Electrical Trainee Card (required) </li><li>EPA 608 Universal License (required) </li><li>OSHA 30 (desired) </li><li>CPR </li></ul> <p>People Management: No</p> <p>Physical Requirements / Work Environment:</p> <ul> <li>The ability to lift over 75 pounds. </li><li>Work environment is often in extreme conditions.
