<p>OVERVIEW</p> <p>The Machine Repairman performs highly skilled mechanical maintenance and repair work throughout Libbey's manufacturing facility.</p> <p>RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Setup, repair, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance of industrial machinery </li><li>Perform machine rebuilding and rebuilding of other related assemblies </li><li>Manufacture machine parts, within specifications, from Engineering drawings </li><li>Perform assembly and repair of forming equipment and section tear down and rebuilding </li><li>Perform routine and preventative maintenance, rebuild processing production machinery </li><li>Confer with engineers, production personnel, and others to resolve machining or assembly problems </li></ul> <p>REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>High School Graduate or GED equivalent is required </li><li>Skilled Trades Journeyman card preferred </li><li>Capable of using ID/OD and surface grinding machines is a plus </li><li>Proficient in reading and editing conventional CNC programs and operations CNC lathes and mills preferred </li><li>Proficient at blueprint readings </li><li>Proficient with precision measuring instruments </li><li>Strong understanding and passion for safe, clean and organized work environments </li><li>Applied knowledge of effective trouble shooting and root cause analysis </li><li>Excellent teamwork and communication skills </li></ul> <p>PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT</p> <ul> <li>Capable of lifting 50 lbs. and be able to perform overhead work </li><li>Must be willing to work first, second, or third shift as assigned </li><li>Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment (noise, high temperature) </li></ul>
